工作职责
The major responsibility in the team is to support The GEF Small Grants Programme (SGP) mainly focusing on (80%~90% of the intern’s time):
•Supporting workshop/training organization;
•Help GEF SGP publication on 10 year’s experiences of supporting local NGOs to solve environmental problems;
•Translation and proof reading for SGP related documents;
•Project information updating (database and website);
•Maintaining close relationship with NGO partners via social media and campaigns;
•Summarizing the good practices from 89 completed and on-going projects;
•Drafting meeting minutes
•Supporting project Monitoring &Evaluation
•Ad hoc assignments
Other tasks to support UNDP Environment & Energy Team in general (20%~10% of the intern’s time):
•Translation and interpretation;
•Taking meeting notes
•Knowledge management (contributing to UNDP Social Media by summarizing the events and missions within E&E team)
•Ad hoc assignments

Fluency in English and Chinese
Background on communication, publication writing
Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web based management systems
General understanding of NGO and international development issues.
